🌳Why gutters matter more in Melbourne's north

The inner northern suburbs — Northcote, Thornbury, Ivanhoe, Heidelberg, Coburg — are famous for their street-tree canopy. Elms, oaks, plane trees and liquid ambars drop enormous volumes of leaf litter every autumn, and in guttered streets the only place that litter ends up is in the gutter trough. 🔄Gutter replacement — when is it worth it?

Gutters that are badly rusted, have multiple patched holes, are seriously out of fall (causing standing water that accelerates rust), or are simply undersized for the catchment area of the roof are candidates for replacement.
