We've built our business one roof at a time across Melbourne's northern suburbs — from the interwar Californian bungalow heartland of Preston and Coburg (where the terracotta tiles are now 80–100 years old and the ridge mortar has needed proper polymer repointing for a decade) through to the concrete-tile corridor of Bundoora, Watsonia and Greensborough, and out to the Colorbond estates of Craigieburn and Mill Park. That spread matters, because Melbourne's north is not one roofing market — it's six or seven different housing eras with six or seven different maintenance profiles, and we've learned them district by district.

How we work

Every job begins with a proper inspection — on the roof, with photos — and an honest verdict. Sometimes that's “restore it”, sometimes “replace it”, and often enough “it's fine, keep an eye on it for another couple of years.” We quote what the roof needs, not what makes the visit worthwhile for us. While we're on site you get a fixed written price, a tidy job, a daily update, and a home left weatherproof every night. It isn't complicated — it's simply how we'd want our own roofs handled.

Qualifying restorations and replacements carry a genuine 10-year written warranty* — real paperwork you keep, not a promise on a flyer.

The products we specify — and why it matters

A roof coating is only ever as good as the system underneath it, which is why we build on the Dulux AcraTex range rather than generic roof paint. On tile that means a penetrating primer that consolidates the surface first, then a full membrane build — not a single decorative coat sprayed over a porous tile. On metal it means the epoxy primer system, applied over steel that has been properly prepared and rust-treated: the difference between a roof that holds its finish for a decade and one that flakes off in three summers.

Ridge capping is repointed in AcraTex flexible pointing, which flexes with the roof through Melbourne's freeze-thaw winters instead of cracking the way the rigid cement it replaces did. Where concrete surfaces need resurfacing we use Dulux Avista, and re-roofs and metal replacements are built in Colorbond steel. None of this is exotic — it's simply the specification that actually lasts, and it's the reason we're willing to put a written warranty behind the work.

Residential and commercial

Most of our work is on homes, but we're set up for commercial and industrial roofs too — factory, warehouse and institutional buildings across the northern suburbs. Large metal roofs fail predictably, starting with surface rust at the fasteners and side laps long before anything perforates, and building owners are routinely told the only answer is a full re-sheet. Usually it isn't. Provided the sheet still has integrity we can treat and convert the rust, epoxy prime and apply a full membrane system — restoring weatherproofing, adding reflectivity that cuts heat load inside the building, and avoiding both the capital cost and the weeks of disruption a re-sheet forces on a business that has to keep operating.
